Yeah I’m not going to blame a first time head coach for their first ever game lol, and Campanile and Udinski are in their roles for the first time as well.

The roster was in a hole because of Baalke. As long as the offense looks competent I’ll be fine with the result, Trevor should be able to elevate a roster if the scheme is good. Which it was not under Doug, and it just continually regressed every year.

 

I should add that I think their offense has looked better in the limited amount they’ve shown in preseason. So if Trevor starts making his mistakes from the past then it’s on him. But if it’s drops, turnovers after catches/handoffs, penalties, etc., then it’s just going to take time for the team to get better and I don’t think Coen should get blamed right away.

The Panthers aren’t going to be that bad if Bryce continues to progress as he did to end the season

 

They could even be good

Yeah looking up and down at the Panthers roster + their schedule I see them easily contending in the putrid NFC South and/or for a wildcard spot. Only 2 games you can certainly pencil in as losses are to Buffalo and GB with the rest toss ups

 

i think we will probably split one each with tampa and atlanta. and yeah buffalo and GB. not saying we won’t have other dumb losses but i think a 9 or 10 win season isn’t out of the question/i wouldn’t be shocked if it happened

my biggest worries right now outside of the defense obviously are the receiver room with replacing thielen with renfrow and coker’s injury

 

Anyways with that said I do think Jacksonville still wins the game but it’ll be close
