Regardless, solely relying on a rookie QB coming off a bad injury that didn’t do much in college was an insane decision. Darnold isn’t great but he at least gives you some stability in this case

Their backup LT has been beat on almost every single snap. Jefferson has ended 2 different drives. It’s his first start and first game in years, on the road.

Bo Nix, Love, Caleb, etc. all sucked to begin their respective careers. Joe Burrow threw like 7 yards yesterday in the 2nd half. Everyone looked rusty.

Should we go through QBs that started bad and stayed bad? There’s plenty of those too!

 

If they’d re signed Darnold they couldn’t have made a lot of other offseason moves. They made a choice. It is what it is. We’ve seen less than one full game.

Having Darnold doesn’t fix how dog shit their offensive line has played.

seattle has better RBs than Jones and two receivers better than the vikings non-Jefferson receivers

 

So that’s two teams in the division who have had dog shit offensive line performances. Bears offensive line has been meh and the Green Bay’s looked solid.

No, but at least they wouldn’t be absolutely annihilating the confidence of a rookie QB who already had many questions about if he was even ready to start. So many young QBs get crushed by bad line play and then never live up to their expectations, not saying JJ won’t but it’s definitely alarming
