The Chiefs could also just lose beforehand, but that’s reliant on Burrow being able to throw well again or the Texans taking the leap

 

I didn’t think they looked particularly great early on last season either (down to the wire against the Patriots, let the Vikings back in, overtime with the Commanders, lost to the Jets), but yeah that Chiefs game was real ugly in my eyes

I really want to believe. I want to believe Hurts can bounce back and develop within a scheme that’s going to ask more of him. I want to believe Moore’s scheme will be a good fit for Hurts, Sirianni, and the offense. I want to believe Saquon’s still got the juice. I want to believe Fangio can turn a dogshit defense into an average one. I want to believe these Georgia PUPS (Carter aside) can show that they’re actually good at football. I want to believe in this new, rejuvenated secondary.

But there are a lot of changing parts with this team and they need to escape the bad vibes from last season that have persisted throughout the offseason.
