I think it's a 'don't pick the chiefs and avoid the upset' call. It would be hilarious for the Bengals to do people dirty like that 2 weeks in a row. I think the easiest / favorite picks in week 2 right now are probably going to be Chargers, 49ers and maybe Jets if they look halfway decent tonight. EDIT: Also the Falcons looked like ass and we all know Kirk is not a primetime performer.
He said "save me from an upset" and I imagine a lot of people are gonna put money on KC after the Bengals performance against the undefeated Patriots.
I would stay the fuck away from that 49ers matchup. Vikings look like they're gonna be that frisky kinda bad team this year.
Really if the Option exists just always go with teams playing the Giants or the Panthers lol. Neither team is winning more than 2 games.
And this is why these things always end up with a small winners pool as at some point, one of those teams will screw you (that and double pick week in like week 10 when it's slim pickings). I always try to plan ahead and save the seemingly 12/13 win teams for later, instead of just going week in and week out and I'm trying to avoid that this year. If there's a clear favorite, I'll pick them. No saving picks.
week 11 is carolina's bye and I was going to say they could make a QB change then and upset someone after the bye, but that's a kinda late bye and their opponent is KC, so
whelp the Raiders are destined to pick in the Top 10, but just far enough outside to not get the QB they need. Can't believe how bad the O line played. Feel really bad for the D, who outside of 2 run plays looked really good. Adams to the Jets will happen this year. Book it
If it makes you feel better most QBs are doing what they can to get picked just far enough outside to get picked by the Raiders
Hurts stink up the joint Friday and the Packers didn’t even try to explore one of his biggest weaknesses lol
Especially because Hafley’s whole thing was supposed to be blitzing The Packers’ defense is one of those units that somehow plays exactly the same regardless of coach or scheme
the giants arent able to make a "massive change" at qb. drew lock isnt any more reliable, and theyre not gonna panic sign or trade for a vet backup after 1 week.
yeah tbh the more I think about that game, the more yall just outplayed the Colts and it was only close because of a few explosive plays I really don’t have a lot of positives other than “no one got hurt” and “those couple of plays were awesome”
