It makes me happy as a Cardinals fan to see Mike Shildt have that success managing the Padres because they’re a great team and above all, he’s being treated much better than how the Cards front office treated him.
Coincidentally, I’ve noticed that six packs of that stuff is about the same price nowadays. One reason I’m glad I quit drinking was finally not having to deal with the constant inflation in beer prices across the board, a six pack of Budweiser should not cost like $12 for watery ass “beer”.
My guitar collection is 100% paid for by my sobriety, there's no way I'd have any of this shit if I didn't go sober because alcohol eats so much money
I definitely started expanding my movie collection after I quit drinking, I missed out on so many cool releases because I was broke from drinking so it’s nice have extra money saved up so I can pick up something cool.
I spend what most people spend on beer, on weed instead my beer budget is closer to most people’s soda budget
I saw this headline yesterday and immediately thought of you Why I Smoke Weed Instead of Drinking and Also in Addition To Drinking
Lolllll that’s fair. I usually am specific to say “I don’t enjoy being drunk” to not create a double standard because that’s actually true haha. Usually when I get on my high horse it’s when people start comparing weed to alcohol when there are legit studies showing it does not impair you to the same extent at all. But yes I do enjoy a drink or two in moderation, weed is my only “go crazy with it sometimes” drug though
AJ being the best against cover 3 makes a lot of sense. He’s too big to get physical with at the LOS and too good at the catch point to just “stay on top” and expect that to work. You legit have to run with him step for step to take him away and cover 3 discourages that. I’ve seen him fucking own double coverage in the red zone 3 times in a single game live when me, @spiffa0 and @Dinkleberg saw Steelers @ Eagles
I won’t. One of the sickest things I’ve ever seen live. Our seats were right in front of all 3 touchdowns too.
I just don’t drink soda. The joy of drinking a soda is so low to me compared to the health disadvantages but I also have worked in restaurants for 14 years - the novelty of drinking soda wears off when you have access to a soda fountain daily When I go out to eat if I’m not having a beer I almost always just get water. The only exceptions are 1) for breakfast I get coffee and occasionally tomato juice 2) if they have a good house made sweet tea, or flavored tea that’s actually balanced and doesn’t only taste like corn syrup,I’ll get that sometimes
I also just eat very unhealthy half the time so not drinking soda and not eating chips/candy is my way of cutting out at least SOMETHING that’s really bad for me can’t promise I’ll stop eating 3 people’s worth of carbohydrates and dairy fat every day, but I can at least cut back on sugar lmao
