Collinsworth just called the Steelers “very proud,” and, I’m sorry, but how can that team have any sort of pride after trying to cover Keenan Allen with a LB last year?
I don’t feel like I’m exaggerating when I say this is one of the worst steeler beat downs I’ve ever seen. The score doesn’t even properly state it I feel
I promise I’m saying this as an observer of football and not using a sarcastic tone. Mike Tomlin is the second most successful coach in football. He has a ring and the second highest winning percentage of active coaches. He had been wildly successful and yet it feels like the gap between him and Belichick is as long as the gap between Danny Etling and Tom Brady.
Today’s game aside, because the Steelers offense has been neutered without their star skill players, it seems to me it’s more that Tomlin’s style of defense is just a bad matchup against Brady.
Right, and part of the problem is with that fact being obvious to you and me he constantly says “we are who we are and we do what we do.” Idk, I like Tomlin, he’s very good compared to most. My post was more about appreciating just how damn good Bill is.
So much “omg the patriots are fucking invincible” and not enough “...well, it was against the Steelers.” Steelers have like 4 GREAT games every season, the rest of the wins are just barely wins and then they absolute shit the bed for the rest.
