You think the way the Cardinals’ defense has been playing that they’d get a quick stop and force a punt? I understand the analytics of it, but there’s something to be said about throwing caution to the wind and having faith in your team. Are the Cardinals’ aspirations this year to go to the playoffs and win the Super Bowl? I’m sure, but the team should be playing for a win to give hope to the fans and organization instead of playing for a tie, especially after the disaster that was last year. I understand there’s a good chance they lose the game if they had gone for it on 4th and 7, but what does it say about Kliff Kingsbury and Kyler Murray if they had gone for it there instead of punting it? For a team that had neglected to play aggressive throughout much of the game (they did opt for a FG on 4th down inside the Lions’ 5), that would have been a good statement to make as a new head coach for your team and fans.
Anyway, this game is going about as much as I expected. Patriots defense is smothering the Steelers offense
What the hell are the Steelers doing running the same play three times in a row against the Patriots?! Run a normal running play. Good grief.
Right!? I was just thinking it’s not even like working big. 3 yards and 4 yards and then a loss. What are you doing??
