really hoping what we saw today can all be worked out and is an anomaly. but a bunch of young guys, brand new coach, no true known leadership (yet), penalties penalties penalties, players losing composure at home on opening day against a non-division rival opponent seems... concerning in a lot of ways. which is baffling because that opening drive was a goddamn thing of beauty. you almost couldn't have scripted it any better. every major player had a great play on that drive. but everything after that was brutal.
It’s just not an NFL season without the Lions losing at least three times in the most baffling, insane, unique ways that have never happened before at any level of football in the history of the sport
I would pay a hefty sum to hear whatever Matt Patricia has to say to Darrell Bevell about that timeout he called
Man, I was totally ready to lose to KC but I was absolutely not ready to lose Nick Foles for more than half the fucking season. Fuck this. Of all things that could’ve happened opening day. Minshew did better than I expected but still a fucking bummer, still gonna probably cause us to lose a lot more games than we would have
The Lions will go 5-11 but Stafford will throw 4100 yards and 34 touchdowns. Patricia will return and go 7-9 in 2020/21.
