That makes sense, his deep throw has been shaky at best since preseason and I'm not totally sure why. I just assume it's nerves.
Eh, that’s like the easiest pick 6 in the world to throw because there’s no one, not even the QB even close to make a tackle. I remember hearing “don’t throw across your body” in YMCA 9 year old football. Every QB who throws that pick 6 thinks they can just throw it hard enough despite their feet moving the opposite direction and overcome the odds, but no one is THAT impressive haha And for what, to get a 5 yard pass when you shoulda thrown it away? Very high risk for very little reward
It was right at the front of the end zone. Only thing I can think of is that he wanted to give him a chance to have room to catch it. But he should have thrown it higher if he was doing that
