I've been saying for years that you have to make him throw deeper and cover the short and intermediate, the chiefs somehow play the pats so well. I guess despite his shit clock management Andy Reid is a good coach. The thing I don't get is why the steelers beat the chiefs almost every time but they don't have a shit of a chance against the pats.

 

Yeah this has always confused me as well, especially considering how the game went earlier this year. Steelers have all those weapons on offense yet KC holds them to FGs and KC still loses

 

Refs won't even throw a flag for that unless the receiver has been warned about it multiple times. Usually just ask them to step back before the play. Not a big deal.

 

Couldn't the DB lineup just past where Hill is (overlapping) and force them to make the call?

that was the first play after a touchback, wasnt it? so the LOS is the 25. a lot of times the center brings the ball slightly back
