I had a wisdom tooth come in recently but it's not impacting the rest of my mouth yet so I'm keeping it

 

my bottom two are completely in and wildly impacted - but my dentist said the way theyre in, theyre likely not going to cause any trouble any time soon so yeah, theyre staying put. my tops had to come out tho.

Had all four taken out then the pain pills made me throw up so i didn't take them again

 

For those that had their wisdom teeth out. Were you all awake or knocked out during the procedure?

Im gonna stay awake for it because I get really really sick whenever I go under any Anesthesia.

 

I had similar surgery when I was a kid (removing a tooth, placing a chain hold on the entering adult tooth); first time I did it under anasthesia and it was kind of cool to just have it done magically. Unfortunately, the cement didnt hold and they had to do it a 2nd time, which they did with just local painkillers, and that one was trippy fun.

Dry socket is iirc the worst pain from a dental type condiitip u can get I was so afraid of getting it I put wet cotton balls over the stiches in my mouth so i could smoke and also vaped thru my nose getting ur wisdoms out is really shitty if ur a nicotine fiend

 

I’ve never heard of dry socket and don’t wanna look it up. Anything involving teeth freak me out.

got my wisdom teeth out in middle school idk if I had super wisdom teeth or what but I’m surprised to hear people get them removed now / so late in life. No issues for me with the process. Seemed like I was in and out (literally and figuratively) within a few minutes.

gargling salt water for a week or two kind of sucked but you get used to it fast..

 

Went to Six Flags Over Georgia the day after getting all four wisdom teeth pulled. Not the smartest thing to do.

I told the dentist to fuck himself when he put the IV in. Ya boy doesnt like needles. Or dentists.

 

I got to travel the same summer I got mine taken out, and the anesthesiologist was asking about my trip. I remember talking about some food and the next thing I remember, she’s walking me down a ramp outside and my mom is in the running car to take me home. I remember rolling down the window and sticking my head out like a dog

Had my all four of my wisdom teeth taken out on New Years Eve 2013 because I hate NYE.

 

This is actually an idea I wish I thought of

 

I don’t care for NYE or even New Year’s either. Makes me very anxious

guy at work thinks "49ers win big" because they have a "more solid team than KC, which will outlast KC's superstars".

the guy is a doofus with everything he says regarding work so i assume this means KC wins big.
