Eh. Not to play Devils advocate but they definitely exist. Matt Schaub is a great example. So is Tony Banks on the millennium era Ravens. Andy Dalton continues to be a system QB.

However none of those guys are ever putting up numbers like Goff. You’re right there. Goff’s problem is he comes from a college spread and never learned how to move around in a tight pocket. He needs the line to perform really well and usually the Rams line does. This win is definitely on Belicheck for knowing exactly how to attack teams weak spots with whatever players he has.

I was surprised that Goff took so long to get rid of the ball.

That tells me the Pats were disguising coverages, showing one thing and then shifting another way to make him think twice. They also repeatedly took away his checkdown, he couldn’t throw to his RBs, so the easy answer was gone.

 

I think the worst part about this super bowl besides it was a boring game was the fact the commercials were all pretty bad.
