Strategically no other sport compares. And while the “contact sport” elements are controversial, it adds another element to the game that’s missing from most sports - being able to win with power, not just finesse

The officiating sucks but it will get better as more and more players tackle the right way more consistently. I have to assume they at least realize excessive “roughing the passer” calls are very unpopular among their fan base as well.

Aside from Gurley disappearing in recent weeks, it’s hard to argue that Goff isn’t the weak link on this squad.
