Like I know the DC team had the most racist of the names, but I feel surprised that there doesn't seem to be as much movement to get the Chiefs and Indians to rename their teams following one team doing so.

it is funny seeing white (sorry) boomers get up in arms about the name of a team though, there was a lake here called lake Calhoun and they changed it because it was named after some general (I think?) who was in slave trade I believe. but they changed it to a Native American name "bde maka ska" and whenever there is a post about the lake on social media they be like "it is always lake Calhoun to me". like okay just be an ignorant dummy about a body of water weirdo.
