Its funny, the NFL is usually great at parity and the idea that anyone can go from rags to riches...and I guess that is still true (see: Jags), but it does really feel like we're about to get maybe 3-5 years with some maybe 6-8 teams routinely being the same Division/Conference Champ/SB teams...and the same 8-10 teams populating the top 10 picks

And I kind of prefer it that way. Like, the NFL might be better if its the NBA

Yeah it was very odd. I mean, Davis had a role earlier in the season as their primary NT, but he really got phased out after suffering the high ankle sprain against the Steelers. I mean, there were games where Linval Joseph would play more snaps than him and Linval was a 34-year-old free agent sitting at home in November who was legit outplaying him.

I have no idea what the deal was with Dean. Edwards had a fairly good season, even though I think he’s limited in coverage and sometimes plays too hesitant because he relies a bit too much on the defensive line. White was solid to start the season, but struggled down the stretch and was rarely ever heard from. I don’t know if they see Dean as someone who would be better fit to play Edwards’ role or not.

Just weird that those two picks received a ton of praise, but they were kept off the field by players who were playing on cheap one-year contracts this year. Would have been nice to see them play now that Hargrave, Cox, Edwards, and White are all impending free agents!

 

No no that sucks and the NBA is the worst cause of that

the NBA has had a bit more parity in their Final matchups than the NFL has in the last five years or so

The NBA is too brand heavy. The bias they have towards the Lakers and Knicks is so offputting
