I feel like ANTI is a damn near perfect album but like the rest of her discography has been hit or miss for me.

superb feature artist tho.

 

100% agree with this, btw. For how little that show had going for it, its clear she was commanding the stage the whole time. Just odd that most of what she did was vibe to her own music

Straightforward yet powerfully effective performance and production. I liked that halftime show. All the hits, short and sweet, crisp and eye catching but not over ambitious. Rihanna looked entirely in her element and looked like a boss dancing more confidently and more understated than her ensemble while singing well and not over-relying on the backing track. Loved the choreography too. Everyone got to stand out, everyone got sick camera angles (especially the one thru the whole crowd that led to Rhianna looking back at the camera, her facial expressions were ON POINT too) and the dances emphasized the unified big picture over individual moves.
