They're 100% banning that play next year.

 

Tough to overturn with that for sure; but that sideline shot was probably enough to convince the refs the ball was moving.

In a regular season game they probably dont have that camera angle and its a catch

 

FUnniest part is these catch rules are better than what they used to be, where we used to see guys lose obvious TDs becuase they'd start spiking the ball a half second early or whatever

 

Maybe other teams should sneak and push their QBs more often

 

Yeah, its just the three steps in bounds prior to maintaining the possession out of bounds that did it for me

Typically those 2 step catches are harder to rule on

If it were two steps I'd say incomplete

That was a catch. Chiefs getting blown out but will only be down by 10.

 

yeah that’s what’s annoying about that review to me. You can clearly see the interference that is probably preventing Smith from catching that cleanly but can’t call it on a review. So dumb.

 

Holding Eagles to a field goal feels like a miracle. What a frustrating 2nd quarter.

They just need to re-implement the no pushing rule. Basically treat it like DPI...if any player extends their arms or gets into the body of their own player while they are running, its a flag

Doesnt soccer have this solved? When they review stuff like a trip in the box, they can evaluate the entire play.

I mean, obviously if theres a hold on the o-line when they are reviewing a catch, they wont see that, but, anything they see in the shots should be able to be called.
