I think Baltimore is fairly even with the Eagles. But if Jalen Hurts is gonna be a positive than it’s really hard to match up lol

 

Yeah I think it’s a closer call with the Ravens, but their defense isn’t what it used to be and I’m still not impressed by their WR corps

And the Eagles shut them down last time they played too

 

i mean KC beat both this year haha so i’m not arguing they’d be better than the eagles. it would just, on paper by roster, be a much more even matchup with either. i doubt either of those offenses would have sub-30 yards in the first half lol

On the other hand, last night I was whining to my wife about the need for Bud Bowl to return.

 

Only good commercial last night was the Dunkin one and that's because of Jeremy Strong method acting in the coffee

 

A lot of the ads felt like they were all using the same premise (particularly the two about iconic facial hair flying around). Just boring stuff that felt like it was all coming out of the same marketing firm with no attempt at really making an impact. I honestly have forgotten most of them already.

Bills d sucked in the state it was in in the playoffs. I liked both their and Baltimore's offense better than KC's this year, but I think KC defense had the best chance of the three at stopping the Philly offense. That doesn't mean Buffalo or Baltimore couldn't have won last night, but any argument about not getting the most even matchup is fairly bunk imo.

but also true is that I just don't think Vic wanted to be in Miami. There was the drama all offseason about whether he'd be in Philly as a consultant or in Miami and he obviously ultimately chose Miami, but yeah.

Long story short, fuck me.

 

My favorite type of coordinator is the old crotchety type that is just fine being a coordinator and does't want to be a head coach anymore. Jim Johnson was great for that eagles D in the early 2000s and hopefully Fangio does the same here for years lol

dave was way too gung ho on LV being a great job opening to hate the coaching hire, i just think he thinks the jags hire is who cares because he likes to troll on the jags.

i dont think he is remotely worried about the jets, nor should he be.
