It feels like interior pressure is becoming so much more important against the better QBs, if you can sustain it you're one of the better teams in the league

Probably more of a draft thread post but its a good year to invest in DT and certainly smart

I'm starting to lean that way

 

I remember that being a big talking point about Brady. I think even Brady himself talked about interior pressure was tough for him to play with than from the edges

 

People just get Real Weird about football

 

Myself included but I hope in vain that checking out of football for a couple months helped

I'd almost just prefer to build a DL inside out like the Eagles seemed to do and just have a rotation of physical specimens inside to constantly pressure with serviceable edge players

I keep coming back to Milton Williams but he was a guy taken in the 3rd that finally flourished this season in that role and he's still only 25 y/o... just very good value mixed with good coaching obviously.

 

just some analytics guy trying to stir up drama by propping up a player whose stats were largely generated in garbage time

He flashed a times throughout his time in Philly, but was always buried on the depth chart, especially in 2022. Glad he finally got his chance to shine this season and he made good on it. He absolutely leap-frogged Jordan Davis for the starting job next to Jalen Carter

Milton Williams is gonna get paid, man. I hope the Eagles can keep him. Would be a big projection to think Jordan Davis will suddenly turn into a consistently solid pass rusher or that Moro Ojomo can just replace the role Williams had.

i like KC much more than these teams but i do kinda wish we got to see baltimore or buffalo, at least so the “eagles are so much more talented!” argument wouldn’t have really applied

 

I think the Eagles are more talented than the Bills and Ravens too. Most talented team in the league
