you didn’t respond to my earlier post, how happy were you that your boy Trump was at the game? it’s a shame he left before it was over though huh?

 

He had a good season and easily his best game of the season tonight. After being dangled in trade offers and basically taking a paycut this year to stay with the Eagles, and also changing his representation a few days ago, I have a tough time seeing him sticking around in Philly

But I do have some concern about how much juice he has left. He suffered a significant leg/knee injury in high school that caused him to fall in the draft and throughout his time in Philly, there’s been talk about his load management. Last season, he played a stupid high number of snaps in the first half of the season before disappearing in the second half. The Eagles made a conscious decision to limit his snaps to about 50-65% of them.

All that in mind, I wonder how much a team will offer him as he’s getting older and is best suited for role larger than that of a rotational player, but not necessarily one of a star pass rusher.

 

Passing Brady definitely still in play for Mahomes but v silly to suggest he has already. Pretty easy to make the argument he's already #2 though

Absolutely bananas to me that they signed him with the idea that he would be a rotational edge rusher and largely a special teams player, then Fangio was like “I think he can be an off-ball linebacker”

Easily one of the best stories of the season for the Eagles
