The Bills have some underrated depth on the offensive skill positions. Singletary has become a solid RB, McKenzie and Davis are good WR’s to complement Diggs, and Knox ain’t awful either

he ain’t gotta cover him one on one or watch out for every single route. He has one job in cover 3 - don’t let anyone get behind you down the deep middle. If Kupp does literally anything else he’s someone else’s responsibility… so if Winfield isn’t looking out for that in particular then he’s not doing his job, and would’ve gave up a TD to any fast-ish WR there

the alternative is calling man to man but I get why they don’t in a 45 seconds left situation. In zone defense you should be able to trust all your starters, particularly a promising one like Winfield, to have discipline and understand how to prioritize their assignment in key situations. Once Kupp came to his part of the field, trying to read Stafford’s eyes should’ve been secondary to not letting Kupp out of his sight
