It’s certainly been a successful season at this point. Hopefully they can take care of business next week. I’m not certainly not underestimating the Commanders in a third matchup, but the Eagles were able to pull through in the second half of the first matchup and we’re up 21-0 in the first quarter of the second matchup before Hurts got concussed, and they still almost won with Kenny Pickett at QB.

Should be a good game!

Josh beat me to it, but I don’t hold those first two playoff games against him. Barely anything bad to be asked of him because those games got out of hand quickly.

The concerning ones were last season’s against the Bucs, last week’s against the Packers, and today’s. Would love to see him clean his shit up and actually play a good game, but I know people will find excuses for him in all three of those games: broken finger on throwing hand and no AJ Brown against the Bucs, coming back from a concussion against a good defense after missing multiple games, snow.

I’m obviously thrilled that they’re getting the job done and winning, but the passing offense continues to keep me worried. I’m fine if they want to be a run-heavy offense with Saquon if they’re at least efficient and explosive in the passing game, which they largely have not been this season.

this snow game against Buffalo is that rare time where “having balls” = give the ball to Derrick over and over and dare them to keep stopping him. They should’ve set up Lamar runs with Derrick runs not the other way around. You wear out the defense with power runs and avoid turnovers in the snow and then put them on skates in the second half when they’re too tired to catch themselves easily
