I'd say it's like Brady vs. Manning. One is more cerebral and had more staying power, one started slow, finished strong, and is much flashier

 

I think Detroits defense is much better suited to face SF than TB

 

Travon had 10 sacks this year let’s not overcriticize

Travon looked bad his rookie year but after this season it’s fair to say he has pushed the needle and has a bright future. Our defense actually suffered second half of this year because of our secondary and IDL, the Allen / Walker tandem was our bright spot, they combined for the most sacks by an edge tandem in the league

Was passing on Hutchinson bad, probably. But if Travon is ALSO a double digit sack guy moving forward, it’s not that bad of a miss

Detroit gets pressure off the right side the most, where SF is the weakest. Their strength in coverage is in the slot, where SF attacks the most. Their defense struggles against more creative offenses.

 

meh, I like the 3-4. We don’t have good interior line for either scheme and Mike Caldwell not making coverage adjustments would’ve been an issue in either
