I’m saying with the way the game has been trending for the past few years it’s going to be harder for a RB to make the HOF, unless they’re freak hybrid RB/WRs like CMC, but even then, with the way a lot of offenses spread the ball, how many more 1k/1k seasons are going to happen? Even with a 17 game season Henry might be the last 2K yard rusher so that’s why Henry came to mind first. If CMC continues this pace for a few more years obviously that’s different but nothing is guaranteed ya know
Not to mention the shorter RB shelf life is going to make putting up those big stat totals even harder
Henry has a 2000+ yard season and is probably the last one coming close to Dickerson’s record, so I’d have no problem with him making it. The drop off after him is the Zeke/McCoy/Taylor tier. CMC is a special case though because of the receiving yards & injuries.
Will be so nauseating if KC wins and pulls the whole underdog story again, as if they weren’t slamming helmets in frustration all year and pouting about their struggles Go Bills
