Commanders are close to my hate list, but they can’t get out of their own way enough for me to actively dislike them on the field
I bought a new desk and got halfway through putting it together now I’m eating a cheesesteak over top of it making a mess like a real mother fucker
I normally don't mind the cowboys but I know a couple cowboys fans who are obnoxious. But this year I've been hellbent on their destruction because of that one guy.
But basically I'm fine with teams as long as: A) I don't know people who root for them who I find very annoying B) They don't employ the worst of the worst character-concern guys in the league.
B) didn’t seem like it was true for awhile until I grew up and realized how racist both Jack Del Rio and Tom Coughlin are and how they power trip on dehumanizing treatment toward black players… and then we hired a way worse version of that in 2021 when everyone and their mother were pleading them not to
I am still fully baffled that Tamps didn't use their final timeout when there was like 35 seconds left on 4th down. Especially with the stupid answer the coach gave like this is such a bad answer. basically "yeah we just gave up"
Tampa needs a coach who won't give up no matter the odds. Even if they're down 28-3 with 2 minutes left in the 3rd. Lucky for them, there's one available.
Thanks so much for this by the way it made my week. I’m potentially buying my next car tomorrow and I’m very financially nervous
I didn’t tell y’all this but the comedy club let me go for literally no reason, other than, they want to move to only having comics be bartenders so they can “work their way up” to new opportunities. Stupidest shit ever. You don’t need to use the bar for nepotism, those comics don’t know shit about bartending and that’s where 90% of their actual profit margins come from. Owner even acted like “it’s a really hard decision cause you haven’t been fuckin anything up you’ve been nothing but professional” and blamed his co-owner for pushing the decision. But while that co-owner is a (very good) comic, who knows a lot about making their shows pop, he has 0 money invested in the building… and no one including the owner knows anymore about bartending than I know about telling jokes on stage. Sounds like the owner is a fucking coward who either can’t own up that it was his decision, or is letting a comic tell him what to do with his business just cause he’s intimidated by his success. Tried to smell clean and act like the good guy by saying he “fought for me” to have a few more weeks there because of my car situation, but bro that’s bullshit, how have we not even talked about this? How can you just give me no notice and no heads up and fire your first, extremely loyal employee, who absolutely kills it behind your bar and never has a line on sold out shows, is never even one minute late to setup before the show, who comics say they love me & my insight and who gets tipped more than anyone else you’ve hired? A *month ago* he told me he wanted me to be his bar manager in the future when he opens a new location. For a little while he was being an asshole and nitpicking every little thing I do, in hindsight he was clearly looking for excuses to justify letting me go. Just total bullshit all the way around and I’m pissed off about it and it’s just another thing piling on to the car etc stress.
