They definitely get more of that than anyone else though because of the America’s Team shtick. It’s annoying for them to continually receive outsized attention only to inevitably flame out. Maybe I just hate watch ESPN shows too much
Oh yeah lmao. I always think the cowboys lost that game cause of the controversial no-catch call on Dez Bryant. Pretty sure that was the game that established the precedent of, “must maintain possession even after hitting the ground” because that shit was a catch, he took 3 steps inbounds with the ball clearly controlled, and then his elbow holding the ball was what hit the ground first and knocked the ball loose, but since that was out of bounds I thought the catch was already established. Nope.
That was vs the Packers the next round They beat the Lions off weird reffing the round before (I don't recall what, I honestly didn't watch that game)
That’s fair. I would clarify on my end that I don’t watch those ESPN shows, my enjoyment of the Cowboys lately has entirely been because *on paper* they have one of the most complete rosters and a lot of it looks exactly like how I’d choose to build a team
I get annoyed when everyone in the org and in the NCAA get up in arms about it, it's so stupid. Let them have fun
At the same point, I hate when UT players/coaches get up in arms with the horns down. Hell, you cant even do the horns down as a TD celebration without getting a flag. Even the bball coach yelled at a kid the other day for doing it.
Yeah that's what I mean, I agree and think Texas coaches and players and fans should be cool with it. I LOVE that people do Horns Down and think there should be no repercussions ever
