That’s reducing it. There’s a million ways to try to cover Kelce. Right there I said we need to press him because they are just going to pretend to look downfield and take the points / two score lead.

Normally I would never suggest pressing Kelce cause he’s a bully and is gonna beat you deep, but in this current iteration of KC offense he’s too much of a security blanket ALSO, to be sending deep when you are at 3rd and 19 and only need a few yards to get a field goal. Strategically it was the right call to do something we normally wouldn’t dare risk doing
