I still think it's just as silly to pretend teams don't get favorable calls more than others as it is to say games are fixed by the refs

 

Lol I did not mean to start this with the drops post. It was more so to say how good Trevor would have been without the drops.

 

I would pay $20 to punch the little colinsworth.

 

No disrespect but I really just think that’s Trevor. He was gonna get almost any receiver who was his X to that kind of production (almost… I do feel bad for Justin Fields lol)

I think we should have Kirk + somebody even better if we are trying to support our QB to take over games like this

 

I just don’t understand having a victim mentality about my favorite sports team I guess

I'm not even referencing the Jags only or saying they don't get favorable calls lol I'm saying every game, the refs seem to call one side more favorably than the other

 

It’s literally not just about the drops. I’m not knee jerk reacting to one dropped pass. But I do watch a lot of football and I expect even better from a lead wide receiver. Kirk may be the best WR the JAGS have had since 2015 Allen Robinson / 2012 Justin Blackmon but that doesn’t make him good when we are raising the bar to, the most reliable WRs in the NFL

My beef with this whole ref thing is…they’re bad. They’re bad every single week, every single year. Every fan base, from the Cowboys and the Patriots to the Jags and the Lions can easily provide a PowerPoint on calls that have screwed them. So it’s exhausting every week to have “THE REFS ARE OUT TO GET US!” every week by every fanbase. I get it’s frustrating, but at some point every game I wind up rolling my eyes about ref complaining like it’s a new problem lol. If they ever actually got good, @xbrokendownx would have nothing left to post about. (Sorry, love you, just trying to inject some humor so jags nation doesn’t descend upon me.)

 

Yeah I wouldn't claim to be less favored than say, the Lions. But yeah we're definitely not in the refs favor while the most popular teams/players "coincidentally" are

I don’t give a fuck about the stats this year. Stats can fluctuate based on the situation. Kirk is in his ceiling situation, Cooks was in his absolute floor.

 

How do you know he is? You're just saying that cause you very clearly have an issue with him

 

This is basically my point lol it just seems to me, one team every week gets the more favorable side of the refs than the other

I’ve never wanted to be wrong more than right now about Kirk. But damn man he needs to show me.
