I hate hearing the announcers say it’s redemption for him. He was cut because a video came out showing him kick a woman who was on the ground. Running a football doesn’t redeem that.

This was my thought

 

People just say that with athletes and it’s such bullshit. No one would ever say “Yeah Joe kicked a woman several times but he’s a really good accountant now. It’s such a great redemption story” because that’s fucking insane and stupid.

 

Sport is too built on redemption stories for these guys to ever face proper accountability and it sucks

 

Because KC isnt gonna finish the game with 19 points, you just saw their kicker miss an XP-length FG, and willingly giving away 1pt with 25mins to go isnt smart.
