He’s 22nd in pass attempts. The guys around him are Daniel Jones (5 less games!) and Bryce Young. Great company, shows real trust in Hurts huh

 

Not to mention it’s pretty insulting that Herbert got mentioned considering he hasn’t done shit in a big game

 

As I was pointing out, you don't have to throw the ball that much when your RB is Saquan Barkley and he's doing 8 yards per carry lol. I feel pretty confident Hurts has an extra 20-30 passing YPG if they don't have Barkley dominating and salting away a few games in the 4th quarter with sizable leads.

 

Hurts' biggest problem is he holds onto the ball too long and takes bad sacks.

Saying Hurts is criticized more than Lamar about playoff success is deranged. It’s not even close. Like what are we doing here.

 

Goff has one bad game, in which the entire team had a bad game and play calling was bizarre. Means he’s shit now according to Broken22. Ok.

 

i think goff is actually a fair comparison for jalen. both have achieved about the same as each other, both have massive and obvious limitations, both have insane weapons around them that can elevate them out of a place where those limitations matter

One of the main topics around Lamar is that he can’t get it done in the playoffs and one of the main topics around Allen is that he’ll never beat Mahomes in the playoffs. Pretty cool people are just making up narratives this morning.

 

And it’s fair to point out that they have Saquon, a great offensive line, and a great defense. If they want to make that their identity, that’s fine, but then Hurts needs to be efficient with his limited opportunities as a passer and it’s been very clear this season that, overall, he has not been

 

Like I said, the dude deserves his flowers for the game he played yesterday. He was great. I’m not asking for that kind of game from him and 50+ points every single week, but I do have higher expectations than what he showed against both the Packers and Rams in the playoffs

 

No one ever criticized Tony Romo for choking!

 

Yes, everyone praised his work/life balance example when he took the bye week before the divisional round to go on vacation at the beach

Also I feel like throwing a swing pass to your RB way behind the sticks on a season ending 4th down just doesn’t feel logical, never mind the ol’ immediate pressure in his face where he still got a throw off which hit his 1st round TE’s hands and was dropped.

 

the fitz post is good but stuff like “swivel chair with the heater on” just reeks of the same “you can’t critique us if you didn’t play” stuff that is stupid in every sport

 

I think there CAN be value in that when it's like "why don't you do this thing that's probably physically impossible to do in real time" and at the same time it's stupid when it's stuff like "why don't you do the thing you're paid to do"

There's a lot of unique perspective you likely can't get unless you actually play (and at the same time a lot that's easily visible and dissectible)

 

Anyway I think Josh Allen should've just won instead of lost if he wanted to win
