Going for 2 to cut the lead to 3 or whatever doesn't really make any sense for the vast majority of the game. You're assuming you and the opponent are going to score the exact same number of points the rest of the game and you can tie with a FG? Wayyyy too much variance throughout a game for that to actually be logical

 

I personally haven’t discussed going for 2 since I didn’t post much during the year but I’m almost always gonna be “just take the extra point vs going for 2”. It’s one fucking point, just take it and move along. Neither time tonight made any sense for Buffalo to go for 2 imo

 

I'm team go for 2 against nearly every single team except for KC lol. Especially taking a point off the board as they did earlier
