I think they’re going to try. It’s tricky because Kyzir White and Marcus Epps are also impending free agencts so both their linebackers and safeties are coming up.

My guess is they will offer Edwards a modest deal. He’s been good against the run, but doesn’t create splash plays as far as turnovers go. I would like them to re-sign CJGJ or tag him, but they’ve been developing Epps since 2019 and they’ll be able to re-sign Epps for cheaper than CJGJ.

My guess is Edwards and Epps. I’d prefer Edwards and CJGJ though.
