Alex Smith coming back from injury to lead his team to the super bowl would be one of the most compelling stories in super bowl history.
To be fair, the Chiefs have quite the collection of individuals with some... troublesome incidents against women, not just Hill
Another level to the AB thing is the Bucs bringing him in midseason when they absolutely didn’t have to, likely because Brady lobbied them to do so. Just can’t respect that kind of blatant moral bankruptcy in the name of chasing a championship. This isn’t a comparison to the Chiefs or Hill either, by any means, it’s just a standalone observation.
lol name another match that would be less fun to watch? like, any game without Tom Brady would be more fun to watch than any game with Tom Brady and all of the other AFC teams other than the Steelers would've been more fun to watch try and take out Brady than the Chiefs.
They’re also front and center constantly & touted as faces of the league in spite of their actions. That or they’re brushed aside as a distraction.
There's also kind of a unique sitaution with both Hill and AB. Chiefs fans were (rightfully) pissed when they drafted Hill; and Reid went out of his way to say "it wont happen again", and when it did, they circled the wagons and protected him. Doubly weird since they quickly got rid of Hunt. So, its a team enabling it that makes it even worse. AB and Brady is the same. He's under how many different civil cases right now? Including stuff right as they were bringing him in....but they'll gladly enable it for the talent.
The Bucs and chiefs are both incredibly good, balanced, and exciting teams. Do you like football? Lol. Chicago vs. Anyone WFT vs. Anyone Indy vs. Anyone
"What a job by Bienemey" Yes, i was very impressed with how he stood and watched Reid and Kafka do the work
Yeah I'm not saying it to bag on you. I just had the conversation with my wife awhile ago when Frank Clark was going wild after a play and I was like "oh yes he's ALSO beaten a woman I think" and she was like "HOW MANY DO THEY HAVE?!" Then I had to remind her they didn't cut Kareem Hunt for kicking a woman, they cut him for lying to them about it.
I wanted to be really happy for him and I hate to bring it back to this, but the handling of the Hill situation and giving him a big contract soured me on his success. I’m a little torn though because he always seemed like a great guy and had a lot of personal tragedy so I was always pulling for him.
