Your fingers definitely feel a lot less dexterous. They get stiff, and go kinda numb and its definitely harder to "feel" how hard to pluck the strings or how far to slide on the neck.

Playing with gloves is impossible though. It's best just to bundle up and get moving around so that blood circulates enough to keep your hands decently warm
