That was DEFINITELY on Evans again haha. Brady put that where it needed to go to get above the LB and below the safety.

 

Throw was def high but I feel like Evans is tall enough to secure that

 

imo Evans just choked away a chance to put this game away with 2 huge drops

 

Nah, that barely touched his fingertips. With no pressure and a wide open WR, you cant miss the ball 4ft higher than it should be thrown

on the contrary, when your WR is 6'5" that's where you usually wanna put it when you're trying to squeeze between man coverage and a robber zone. Evans' whole paycheck is based on him making those grabs.

 

If he leads him another 2 feet right, he can put the ball 3ft lower and we're talking a walk-in TD for Evans. That's on Brady when he has no pressure.

Eh. I see passing the ball in bracket coverage as "better safe than sorry". Typically it is safer to put it well outside the reach of the defenders. The ball wouldn't have been an INT if Evans didn't tip it directly to the safety lol
