Zero chance his playoff performance has convinced me that he’s suddenly a good HC though Dude is dense as hell
Yeah, I know they probably did it because they knew Patterson but even the Jags clearly didn’t trust his leg. Just an odd process. We also had our kicker issues with McManus so hopefully both of our teams can figure it out in the offseason lol.
The niners referring to their fans as the faithful is somehow worse than the Seahawks calling their fans the 12s.
so you can't celebrate aggressive coaching and play calling when it makes sense but call it out when its not the right move? aggression isn't an all or nothing dial. You don't have to choose between "Never go for it on 4th and short" and "always go for it on 4th and short when you're inside your their of the field"
Dan Campbell is who he is. I prob would have kicked the FG the first time to take a 3 possession lead, but I mean Josh Reynolds was there and the play was there. It failed. Prob the same odds as a 45+ yard FG. The Gibbs fumble. The crazy Aiyuk catch. Reynolds drop on 3rd. None on the coach. I’d say the coach has inspired way more for the lions success this season (and last) than he “lost” it
How many times does Joe have to explain the kicker woes and we even had @Victor Eremita provide stats that the guy hasn’t really hit anything long all year
Yep, as Ive said before, I thought Campbell was a one trick pony coming off his Dolphins HC run...he's showed me he's legit. Hell, if Aiyuk drops that facemask catch its probably a wildly different game. San Fran needed some truly bizarre magic to get back into it
It takes most (all) teams multiple shots anyways None ever railroad their way to a SB off the bat, have to take the lessons from this run and be better in future years
Clucky is so adamant that Campbell should have taken the points on that fourth down in a game decided by three points Does he realize that Campbell decided against scoring a touchdown at the end of the first half in favor of just three points?
