I'll be free for two full weekends and my classes are 8:00am-4:00pm, Monday through Friday. anything that isn't super expensive honestly. I like beer a good amount, but I don't have any other ideas of what I would want to do. I'll have to look into that. thanks!
I should just start putting APers who are coming to NYC up in my apt. Its only about 30 minutes away and basically the safest place ever.
I live in Astoria, also going to govball. Just curious what are the cross streets of where you are staying. 95% of Astoria is super safe and nice, but there is a kinda sketchy part.
I was just around there the other night, should be really good. They have a new restaurant there but I forget the name...it's weird cause it's this big southern style eatery and stands out from everything nearby haha.
Cool not too far from where I live now. Great neighborhood. Uber is gonna cost you like $6 and probably get you to randall's in less than 10 minutes.
Yea, its a room in a 3br with two other people. Definitely not a closet, but just enough for a twin size bed, a small dresser, and a very small TV stand. Its more in Bushwick I guess since I live a block north of Broadway.
Go, go back to Jersey. We don't want you here. I'm moving to Pittsburgh next year. It's gonna be dope.
I really can't stand the people here sometimes, dating is the worst. MTA has also been a horrible joke for the last month, I had to walk a mile from the bar my friends and I were at to go home after walking all day because the F was shut down.m
new yorkers, whether they are native or imported, are the worst. I hate the idea that being a "true" New Yorker means you have to be a rotten human with no soul. The MTA is beyond unreliable. Once it hits midnight it's a coin toss whether your train will show up or not. If it wasn't for friends and family, I would've left a long time ago.
So I'm back in New York at the end of July. Seeing Hamilton on Broadway, a couple of gigs, and some other bits and pieces lined up. Does anyone have any recommendations for stuff I should check out? Bars/restaurants/ cool shops. Staying in Manhattan, in Midtown, but pretty open to traveling about.
I'm going to be in your city from Sept. 1-11. Just impulse bought a ticket, so I guess this is the place where I say who wants to hang out and what should I be doing while I'm there?
