    Follow your passion.

Van Cortlandt Park area of The Bronx but mainly enjoy speeding time in the city but my area works fine for me

Good to see Cuomo eat shit. Having fun scrolling through the NYT district map and seeing the turnout for Zohran and Lander.

Its been cool to start picking up little things here and there since the move in March. I go to the UES enough nowadays that I don't even google map it anymore. Idk little wins?

Totally, the opposite of this is a thing too. Like I’ll go to a neighborhood I only get to like once a year or whatever and I’m pulling out my phone for a map and feeling like a total tourist lol

If Zohran gets elected and makes it affordable I would love to live in your city. I have never been despite my dad's half of family being from there. It would feel like returning to my ancestral homeland.

My grandma grew up in Williamsburg and my grandpa grew up in Flushing. I had a great great aunt who had a three story walkup in Flushing that my grandpa sold after she died and I was upset he didn't keep it for the family.

I hate driving. I love different good food. I like talking to corner store guys.

  13. staying in the lower east side for the holiday weekend if anyone has some recs. we’ll be venturing out to other areas so doesn’t have to be super localized to that area

Scarr’s Pizza for a slice. Wu’s Wonton King for a feast (and byob if that’s your thing). Win Son bakery for breakfast, the scallion pancake burrito specifically. Marshall Stack is a pretty good dive that doesn’t get loud/crazy and can actually talk.

if you get to Bushwick/Ridgewood/Williamsburg/Greenpoint let me know.

New Yorkians! I will be in your city on September 30th to see The Format. I will be in town until October 5th.

I am staying with a friend in Brooklyn. Neither of us drink. Tell me what I should be doing/seeing that is not the usual touristy stuff! I like music, movies, comedy, and experiencing wild shit I've never seen before.

for comedy in Brooklyn check out Union Hall/Bell House/Littlefield; Brookyln is also very big so hopefully it's that part of Brooklyn

I like going on the NY comedy club for comedy. Look at their schedule week of they generally have lots of good people every day of the week. There's a few locations also warning there is like a drink minimum but I think you can get snacks / non alc drinks instead to hit it. Also if you're early you'll be up front and generally there is crowd work. In Brooklyn I used to love going to alligator Lounge a lot, if you like karaoke (it's a bar). It was the bar featured on the rehearsal. Also near there is my favorite taco truck I tried Birria-Landia I used to frequent when I lived closer. Pete's candy store is another small bar that lots of local musicians play at pretty much daily in Brooklyn. Can be hit or miss and warning it can be hot over the summer.

  20. - Nitehawk Cinema is a great vibe, both film- and food-wise. I prefer the Williamsburg location, but Prospect Park is cool for bigger movies.

    - Film Noir Cinema always has weird/cool showings, and the owner himself is fun to talk to about movies. Very old-school Brooklyn.

    - The Tiny Cupboard is a great spot for comedy, very wholesome and intimate, but the comedians I've seen there are awesome.

    - The Broadway usually has great emo/pop-punk bands, both local and bigger. Their food is pretty solid bar fare as well!
