by Chloe, Beyond Sushi, and The Butcher's Daughter are all veggie places that I am aware of. You can still go to shake shack as they have a mushroom burger.
Pizza is always a contentious issue. I like Joe's (three locations: West Village, 14th Street, Williamsburg) for a good example of a classic NY slice. There are other great options though.
Pizza debate is a fun one. - Joe's Pizza - Best Pizza - Prince Street Pizza - John's - Roberta's - Scarr's
I never really eat Pizza in the city. I can only really recommend places in my neighborhood. - Pizza Boy II - Soto Le Stelle
Much like deep dish, feels like less of a true pizza and more of a novelty. Delicious though. Also gave me swine flu once. I did eat the fallen slice off 2nd Avenue though. I'm not a proud man.
Well FUCK YOUR CORNER STORE PIZZERIA YOU GREW UP EATING THAT NO ONE EVER HEARD OF THAT YOU ARE GONNA RECOMMEND AND FUCK THE GIANTS BECAUSE I CAN JUST TELL YOU'RE A SHITTY BITTER GIANTS FAN.
EL GIGANTES FOREVA MANNN. Typical Eggle fan coming into a New York thread, just like irl how they move from their shit town to New York
I literally recommended one of the most well known pizza shops in the city. I grew up in the burbs, I have no secret allegiance to some kind of under-the-radar pizzeria. Also FUCK THE EAGLES. You don't see me going into the Philly thread and telling people to go Jersey Mike's for the best cheesesteaks. I wouldn't lower myself to associating with anything or anyone from that garbage city. For real though Philly is not that bad and I always have a good time there. Also I just realized I'll miss Eagles/Giants, I'll be on a boat watching ETID.
Damn, youre going to that show? I lucked out, I live in Florida now and I can't believe ETID is skipping the tri state area with that Turnstile/Angel Du$t show. I got a florida date like 40 mins away from me.
Would've loved to see them with that line-up. They are now playing 4 nights in a row in NYC. 2 boat shows (both sold out). Then yesterday they announced a Saint Vitus show, sold out immediately (I got tickets). And today they announced a second show at Vitus. I'm hoping they announce some good openers for any of the shows.
i think i'm the only one to recommend a corner pizzeria that nobody cares about that I grew up going to.
