Ahh I've walked past this place a few times in the last week or so on nightly walks to McCarren Park. I'll definitely have to check it out, thanks for the heads up!

Has anyone done House of Vans, want to do Blondie and Interpol this year and just making sure there is a reasonable chance of getting in with the RSVP if I get there by like 6 for a 7 show but no clue what capacity is like

 

I waited for two and a half hours in brutal heat and sun for Converge and they stopped letting people in like 20 people ahead of me. Never going to that venue again. Hand out wristbands to those lined up until you’re out of wristbands or something, don’t waste people’s time.

 

It all depends on the popularity of the artist and whens the show. There have been times I didn't show up until 20 minutes after doors opened and I still got in. But that was for !!! and on a Tuesday night.
I heard from people who went to the Slowdive show last Saturday that people who showed up an hour before doors still got denied.

I think for Blondie and Interpol you'll have to get there at like 4pm. I wanna go to the Against Me show but I feel like that'll be a little easier.

Yeah no way I could do that with work

 

I was there that day. Unemployed at the time so I lined up what I thought was *really* early, and still barely made it in. Then it was so hot in the warehouse I could barely enjoy it.
