it's hot as hell

 

I'm planning on having lunch one day in the Bronx and checking out Roosevelt St in Queens. Should see plenty of Manhattan since I'm staying there. Only thing left to look into is Brooklyn, which I will do this week.

Am I missing anything? Anything worthwhile in Hoboken besides the alternate view?

 

Cuomo and the MTA can fuck right off, this is insane.

 

I don't remember this being an issue but recently it feels like it's happening constantly

 

It's so bad right now. I think there is something major happening every week. It's incredibly lucky no one was seriously hurt this morning.

Is Uber/Lyft my best bet for getting from LGA to Times Square Area in terms of ease and price?

 

Yeah I would think so. I'm flying in at the end of the month and paid a little more to go to newark. I heard LGA has been a nightmare (even worse than usual) the last few months because of construction.

 

I think so, pretty sure Air train is JFK only

 

I usually prefer yellow cab but the construction at LGA is out of control right now. I waited 90 mins for a cab when I flew in from Chicago last month

 

Blah. Stupid construction! Guess we'll see how bad it is when I get in around 9:30am tomorrow.

Rough Trade in Williamsburg and Generation Records on Thompson Street in Manhattan are excellent!

Had a cool time in NYC this long weekend. Was pretty weird seeing cops armed with machine guns and heavy protective gear all over Times Square area.

 

Probably going to catch Andrew Bird while I'm in town.
