New Year’s Resolutions

What are your New Year’s Resolutions going into 2025?

I’ll continue to cut out pop. I’ll start writing my book.

 

A few of my own, and a few joint ones I have with my wife:

Get back into photography- Photography was my biggest creative output/hobby for a few years, but in 2024 I stepped back from doing it because I lost all inspiration to get out and shoot. My goal for 2025 is to get back doing it. It really bums me out that I gave up on it pretty easily

Get more into coffee- I’ve been a coffee nerd for years now, but in 2024 I received useful coffee equipment as birthday and Christmas gifts so now I really want to explore it more and try more specialty coffees. I wanna get to the point where I can taste the tasting notes and all that fun stuff

“Spring clean”- My wife and I have ready started “spring cleaning” our place. Our big goal is to clean up our place and get rid of stuff we’re not using anymore and is taking up space. We’re doing a pretty great job so far

Travel to a different state- My wife and I love taking road trips and took a few in 2024, but we both agreed we want to take an out-of-state trip that would require us to travel via plane. Where to and when? That’s still undetermined. But we’d like to take a memorable trip to somewhere we haven’t been before, or somewhere we haven’t been in a while

Make music- I now have a decent bass setup, so I really want to join or start a band and make music again. My old band has been done for like 6 years now and I have the urge to do it. Even just jamming in a room with some people would be great
