Either EPs or a reimagining album. I'm thinking the Philharmonic experience is inspiring them to take a look at their old songs and redo them
A new full length wouldn't surprise me. With half of 2015 dedicated to hyping ILIWYS, and then at least 4-5 months after it was announced before it was released, it's probably more a 2015 release for them that just happened to come out in 2016. They can easily be 2 years removed from that record by the middle of next year, so it's not as fast a turnaround as it may seem.
Yeah, they gotta do an EP at this point. Also, they need to play This Must Be My Dream before they start moving onto new things
This is awesome. But they were also referencing 2015 for the 2nd album, so, as much as I want this to be true, I'm not convinced.
He's been talking about recording in his snapchats a lot lately, in a couple he clearly said new album
Their set with the BBC Philharmonic Orchestra is streaming live on the BBC Website (available worldwide) and starts in about 15 minutes. They said they will be performing several songs for the first time ever.
“It’s an exciting time,” says Matt. “Our experience working on the last album with more classical arrangements was very inspirational and then this idea came around. This is the start of a chapter of our career, it’s part of our evolution as a band anyway and the way we are moving onto the next record with classical music."
