Interesting to note that Bejar is credited as a co-writer of this single, though he's not on the album at all.

 

After a couple spins I've gotta say I really enjoy this. It's easily the slowest-burning of all their records, but that just gives the songs more room to breathe I think. The saxophone parts add a nice wrinkle. So far my favorite tracks are the title track, Really Really Light, and Wish Automatic Suite.

 

More of a slow-burner than Challengers?

 

I think so, ever so slightly. It's kind of a mix of Challengers and Morse Code.
