nice! will do. it's either brick or howell for us but we are leaning toward brick. cheaper taxes = more house, haha. my wife has actually worked in wall for the last 7 or 8 years so i am familiar with a few places (surf taco and 10th ave obviously. im pretty sure there is a fins in brick, etc). i just have no idea of good/bad sections, where im gonna get groceries, what mall is close by and all that. i guess freehold is my best bet in that case?
I lived in Howell my whole life. Rt 9 has tons of places to go shopping. Lakewood has cheaper sales tax. Freehold Raceway Mall is good and there is one that is on the border of Brick and Toms River. If you are looking at a particular area I can give you an idea of what it looks like in terms of good/bad areas. Overall, it is a great area to live in regardless. Fins in on the way to Pt. Used to go there a lot. Mmmmm.
I live and grew up in northwest NJ, I am so looking forward to leaving after I graduate. All depends on if I get a job or not. I have some friends I know will never leave here.
Lived in Jersey for four years while I attended Seton Hall. It holds a special place in my heart for many reasons.
I was born in Voorhees, but I've lived in PA my whole life. I make fun of Jersey when I can, but it's still the second-best state in the country. I grew up going to Wildwood, but unfortunately it's not as fun as it once was. my friend's family has a small house in Villas which is a cute little town. I love south jersey; have not been up north too much.
It's amazing watching people's brains short circuit when I tell them you have to pay to get onto the beach in NJ
I love OC, I go there every summer. It's typically super quiet and friendly and I feel like Wildwood is the complete opposite also shoutout to Brigantine
The key is to know someone who owns a home in LBI and go to that beach. It's private and incredibly quiet, away from the hustle/bustle
I worked at Deal Casino about 7 years ago, it was the worst job I've ever had, Loch Arbour was my family's beach of choice
Successfully hiked to the top of Mt Tammany Saturday while camping. Was a weird weekend where I froze half to death at night and also got bad sunburn.
Fins is renovating an old bank (not as great as it sounds) in Point Boro on Rt 88. It's right across the street from my house lol. THIS. After I tell them you have to pay they're like "But you get to go for free since you're a resident, right?" NOPE.
