It's so funny how all of that works out. An APer was like, "You work at Borders? Tell my hipster brother he is an asshole." He walked in the door and I knew exactly who he was. Haha. A few weeks later, one of his friends walked in and introduced himself by his AP name. It was such a weird grouping of events.
I remember finding out Christian and I had mutual friends. Also, @Henry I'm pretty sure our time at Willy P overlapped
orly. I only spent 3 semesters there. Probably the end of 08 to the end of 09. Now if you could find a picture we are both in, my mind would be blown.
I was going through my old interactions on AP before it was gone and read a lot of you and doomcrs and others jokingly saying you were gonna come bother me at Six Flags
Hello, I am here. Tick Tock is so over priced. I banned it for years, but man, was it good enough for Jon Stewart and Jerry Seinfeld to have an interview in and it's right by my house. Nutley Diner is my favorite. Not sure if Chat n Nibble in Asbury counts...because if it does, than that one is definitely my favorite. I'm going to report this post out of blasphemy. Diners are life savers after shows, late night hangs, morning hangovers. I love the cheap, crusty ambience. I miss when you had jukeboxes at each booth.
I bribed Rob and Valerie with diner food in order to give me a ride home from Saves the Day a year or so ago. lol
@Miss Heartcore I've ended a few nights at Nutley Diner. You know what diner does suck? Arlington. It's the worst and they do not have the best cheesecake as advertized. Too bad. Such a waste of a good location.
Blue Swan on 35 in Oakhurst and Somerset Diner in Somerset. I love my hometown, Asbury Park, and the New Brunswick/Montclair music scene is great, but as a whole, I think I'm over it here.
I challenge anyone to eat the large Reuben from Kelly's Tavern in Neptune. I did it once. My mom found it impressive.
I said best/worst state! Most of us hate on New Jersey in a self deprecating way, but deep down we all love it and could never imagine living anywhere else.
I finally purchased my first place and there's a part of me that's stunned that I officially committed to staying here and the other part would never, ever want to leave anyway
