Ok, the most nitpicky thing in the world that irks me all the time (and should show how relentlessly I rewatch this show): In the episode after Nick and Jess break up, Nick has this conversation with Tran: As far as I can tell, this is the only time (or at least the first time) where Nick interprets something from Tran as an actual line of dialogue, rather than just a yes or no question, or a response you could garner from someone's eyes (i.e. fish scales or feathers). This is the end of the dumbest rant of all time.
put on a random episode from season 1 the other night and I think I might just turn this into a series rewatch
“Being friends with Schmidt is really complicated, because you want to change him so badly, but you can’t, because he just gets worse.”
“Well, then, how about this Two can help. Okay? And if two are going to help, then I'll be one of them 'cause two can tango on this dance, okay? So, you want to waltz? Well, you picked the wrong dance partner. Two can play.”
The only jokes that really don’t hold up for me are the ones where the punchline is basically “outside Dave is homeless”
I kept hoping that if we saw him again in the final season he would have gotten some help from someone and now he’s Inside Dave, though he prefers just Dave because the moniker was always hurtful.
Yeah as much as I love Agee, his presence on this show basically to amounts to “lol he’s homeless” or “lol so random”. It’s funny at first but as the show goes on it gets old
yeah I hate how this and Friends were like oh this character has OCD and then decided to make it as a result of previously being fat so shitty
J. Cronkite Valley-Forge was so good I wish we got more of him. "I curled up into a little ball like an armadillo" his pronunciation of armadillo kills me every time
