This show does really well making socially conscious jokes like that without them feeling like they're out of place/trying too hard.
With the news of all the canceled shows at Fox today, I am extremely grateful this show was renewed last year for this one final season. If they had been given a seventh season with no promise of it being the last one, I have a strong feeling this would have gotten the axe as well and we’d all be hoping the finale would at least be somewhat satisfying.
