Give me that repress please! I sold my copy a few years ago when I was really short on money and I’m still so mad at myself for doing that!
They just had one this past fall with Less Than Jake. And they had one in 2018-2019 before the pandemic.
Haha yup. I think I've seen 3 album shows at this post (self titled, sticks and stones twice i think, and covers album), where is like a normal "mix of everything" show at this point (they do those too, but with your point, a sticks and stones show isn't gonna move the needle any more or less than a normal show at this point)
Meh, I've already seen a Sticks and Stones anniversary show. Feels like they haven't done a "normal" setlist in awhile.
They were just on tour at the end of last summer. 2010 was a small S/T run 2012/13 was S&S 10 yr 2017 was 20 years as a band with two US runs 2019 was FTSTYS tour They’ve toured every year except maybe 2020. Unless you live in a small town they’ve likely played a regular set near you
They just did a normal tour in the Fall. And their last US tour before the pandemic was also a typical setlist. I've seen them like 9 times live and I've never seen a full album play show lol
That's fair. I don't really go to shows anymore so I'm not as in tune with what they've been doing. Just seems like they've done so many anniversary tours, but I guess not as often as I thought.
Yeah they’ve had normal tours all throughout, but I do think it’s understandable to feel some anniversary fatigue with this record in particular. Depending where you live, this may be their third or fourth run of Sticks in under 10 years, not even counting the nearly two years they couldn’t tour due to the pandemic
I said that after the pandemic and all the money that bands lost, I wouldn't begrudge anyone for doing what they need to make their cash. And I won't!
That’s fine, I’m not either haha. Let them get the bag. But also some people may not be feel the need to see this record again and that’s ok too!
Got two tickets. Fees are extremely reasonable! Christ almighty, I’ve missed shows. (I also wish this was for Catalyst. Guess I’ll wait two years!)
Crazy that they've actually leveled up and are playing bigger venues now (at least in my city) than they were pre-pandemic. The fall tour was at a 3.5k venue, and this tour is a 3k venue. Before the pandemic they always played the same 2.5k capacity venue, even on those big co-headliners.
