King of Wishful Thinking might be my favorite of their covers but that might be because the original song is amazing lol

First time I remember listen to NFG was when I heard they were going to be opening for blink during the TOYPAJ tour, so I used Napster to "borrow" some of their tracks and immediately fell in love with Hit Or Miss and Sucker. After I saw them in concert and they put on such a great show I ended up buying their Self Titled album and loved it so much I got NGCS and the 1st From The Stereo albums and haven't stopped buying their albums since. Probably my 2nd or 3rd favorite band. They are one of the few bands I can put on shuffle and barely skip a song.

 

Right? I dread ever hearing him try to hit that note at the end, lol.

Thousand Years might be my favorite on the new covers album. Can't stop listening to it!

 

the chorus of Let it Go is insanely high. and then that final high note is way higher. no wya he can sing any of that without dropping it several keys. and even then, still prolly no

 

He’s probably gonna have the crowd sing that note during their sets.

 

I could totally see them closing with Eye Of The Tiger on this tour.

 

He better figure out how to sing Let Go live because people be very unhappy if they don't play it lol.

 

I dont care for Let it Go really. They played Eye of the Tiger last tour and killed it, so I'm hoping they bring it back.
But really I'm fine if they only play This is Me and A Thousand Years.

 

They're definitely going to play This Is Me and Power of Love on this tour. Probably Let It Go also. I wonder how many of the old covers they'll play also.

 

On the Bayside tour last year they played Eye of the Tiger as part of the encore. Sounded great.

 

I thought they would at least play every new cover song on this tour haha. Especially since its to celebrate the release? IDK lol.

What I do know is I didn't think they could cover another song like they did "Iris" and they definitely did just that with "A Thousand Years"

 

They said in the AltPress interview that Let It Go will be on the setlist.

 

Crazy to see that A Thousand Years is the least streamed from this on Spotify. I've listened to that song like 10 times a day since it came out.

Puzzles is the best song NFG has released in the last 10 years. hooks for days. that pre-chorus is awesome

 

Is Puzzles not going to be on streaming services?

 

I don't wanna be that guy but can someone hook me up with puzzles? I bought all 3 vinyl variants and was gonna buy the individual song but you gotta buy the whole thing on itunes to get puzzles.... so yeah. preferably not a youtube rip :)

 

Yeah I've really come around on Puzzles. The chorus is so catchy.

It's an iTunes only release so don't think it will be on other streaming services. Some people have uploaded it to Youtube, though, so you could rip it from there.

 

Am I the only person who hears "You're gonna miss me by my taco" every time on the "Cups" cover?

Dunno, doubt it, it was on the 10th anniversary edition of the album ... I just randomly saw it on iTunes when I was looking for something else and realized I had never heard it.
